From first visit to loyal regular
I'm Rikki Pitt, a remote software builder, usually working from cafés.
It struck me how often people return to places they love, but businesses
had no easy way to encourage or reward that behaviour.
The story
I've worked remotely for most of my career, which means I've become a regular at a lot of places. The best cafés and small shops don't win because they have the fanciest branding. They win because they remember you, and they give you a reason to return.
But the tools are either stuck in the past (paper cards that disappear) or wildly overbuilt (poor quality apps and points systems nobody wants). Leal is the middle ground: a wallet-based loyalty card that's easy to add, easy to use, and genuinely useful, for customers and for the business.
